## Donor Eligibility Requirements
- Age: 19–38 years old
- Health: Good health with clean family medical history
- Education: College student or graduate (professional experience may substitute)
- Height: Minimum 5'8"
- Legal status: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Location: Must live, work, or attend school near a branch location
- Background check: Acceptable results required

## Donor Compensation
- Per donation: $100–$300 (donations that yield vials), average $200
- Maximum frequency: 3 donations/week → up to $2,400/month

- Adult photo bonus: Additional optional compensation
- Payment: Bi-weekly check; donors classified as 1099 independent contractors

## Screening Process (2–3 months)
1. Online application — notification within 1–2 business days
2. First in-person appointment — semen specimen evaluation (uncompensated); results in ~3 days
3. Conditionally qualified phase (~4 appointments):
   - Donor profile creation + 3 childhood photos (ages 6 months–12 years)
   - General physical exam by partnered physician
   - Comprehensive infectious disease panel (HIV, Hepatitis B/C, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, CMV, HTLV, COVID-19, Zika travel screening)
   - Genetic screening: one-on-one interview with reproductive genetics specialist covering extended family history
   - Psychological assessment: Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) + clinical interview (since March 2016)
   - Criminal background check and education verification
4. Fully qualified donor — medical director approval; donate 2–3×/week; blood draw every ~2 months
5. Retired donor process — 3 final infectious disease screenings at 2, 4, and 6 months post-donation
